Makeup Bucket List

This is my official makeup bucket list.  Here I will be listing each makeup product I want to purchase to build up my first makeup collection.  If I have added or changed a product due to new ideas or a discontinue in a product, it will be written in bold.  If I have purchased a product, it will be crossed out.  I have one rule for myself!

1) I will NOT use any of the products until I have the entire collection complete.

Alright! Here we go!  Titles of makeup categories are going to be in large and underlined text.  Titles of subcategories will be in underlined text.

There will be nothing in this section.  When my makeup collection is complete, I will just go find some brow markers/pencils/setters in the store because I change my hair color sometimes.

(*note*: I'm not going to subcategorize this into pencils, liquids, felts, minerals, etc.  That's because I'm going to probably purchase these basic ones for my collection and then build on to those subcategories later after I've gotten my main collection complete.)
  • Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Big & Bright Eyeliner Pencils (shades: Espresso, Intense Black and Chocolate)
  • Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (shades: Black Ink, and Espresso Ink)

  • BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palette 3rd Edition
  • Mac Cosmetics Custom Eyeshadow Pallete (15 pots) (shades: Whatever I feel like buying when I get this)
*No other real eyeshadows on the list at the moment, I feel like this is another thing that can wait to be furthered until after I get my main collection purchased.*

For this, since for some reason I only feel comfortable buying blush in a store where I can see it, I will say that for this category I want to spend $50 at Sephora on whatever blushes I choose for my main collection.  I will definitely further this after the main collection is complete.

$50 at Sephora, and will be furthered after main collection is complete.

  • Many shades from Victoria Secret, Bath and Body Works and $30 at Sephora.
Bronzers, highlighters, lip stains, etc.:

I feel that these are not important enough to be on my base makeup collection.  I already have a bit of bronzer, I don't use it much, and highlighters and lip stains seem like they can wait.

I think the Mac brushes will be the hardest to buy.  They're really expensive and it's difficult to justify spending that much on one brush.  However, each brush literally lasts forever and Mac is famous for their amazing brushes. What I might do is buy one brush in between each actual purchase of a product.  For example, if I buy a mascara, then I will buy a brush before I can by another mascara or something.  Gosh, this is probably over thousands of dollars in makeup.  It's crazy because almost every YouTube guru has this collection AND more.  I know most people build over time, just like I do, but still.  This is probably going to take years.  I might not ever complete this, to be honest.  I'm going to try, though.  For birthdays and Christmases from now on, I will send people a URL of this bucket list and tell them I would like any product from this list.  *Sigh* I cannot wait until this collection is -possibly- complete.
